Heather Nelson is one of our newest Loan Officers, but she is not new to the industry. She has been with Black Diamond Mortgage for a few years now as our Senior Loan Processor and decided to move up to becoming a Loan Officer. Initially she started out by helping us with marketing and communications. She started realizing she could do more at the company her brother started.
-Grew up ski racing in Winter Park, CO with older brothers Dave and Erik Boye.
-Graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with emphasis in GIS and Geology.
-Spent 8 years traveling between Indonesia, Australia, SE Asia with Hawaii being home-base.
-Imported furniture, jewelry and crafts from these countries to sell in Hawaii which paid for travel.
-Married in Montana to husband Clay and has 2 girls who keep her busy.
-Loves the outdoors in Montana and can be found camping most summer weekends with family in her self renovated 1968 Bell Camper.
-Avid nordic, downhill, mountain biker and surfer.
-Loves to help people – goes above and beyond to make the mortgage process a great experience for the client.
