David is a seasoned business executive and entrepreneur with experience in corporate leadership, strategic finance, business development, marketing, and real estate investment.
His career includes roles at IBM Corporation and i2 Technologies, as well as leadership positions in privately held financial services, technology, and marketing companies. As a former Chief Marketing Officer, David developed alternative funding strategies and partnership frameworks for small and middle-market business acquisitions.
David draws on his experience in strategy, entrepreneurship, and relationship building to bring a broad financial perspective to his role as a Mortgage Loan Originator with Black Diamond Mortgage.
He helps homebuyers and homeowners make informed financing decisions while building collaborative relationships with real estate professionals, residential builders, and developers across Montana.
David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Montana, where he also completed pre-MBA studies.
His professional philosophy emphasizes trust, personalized service, and lasting value through education, strategic thinking, and meaningful relationships.
Outside the Office
Beyond his professional work, David is an entrepreneur at heart who owns and develops several businesses while pursuing an active lifestyle and varied interests. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hiking, biking, climbing, snowboarding, and exploring Montana’s natural beauty and recreational opportunities.
He also enjoys golf and sports, collects vintage guitars, and appreciates mid-century modern architecture, furniture, and design.
